StevieStrong Scholarship Application 2027
The StevieStrong Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of Steve Brooks and his love for learning as well as the great sport of hockey. Each year scholarships are awarded to student athletes who show outstanding leadership, attitude, and work ethic on the ice and in the classroom. Graduating high school seniors are eligible to apply.
Applications are due by January 14, 2027. Completed applications must include:
1) Completed Application form (below)
2) An essay of 500 to 1500 words, typed, double space format, with focus upon both of the following:
a. Applicant’s goal for continuing education after high school graduation, including your purpose and your motivation for pursuing this path.
b. Applicant’s description of a life experience or a person who has influenced your goals, attitude, and work ethic.
3) Most recent high school transcript available from the school.
4) Three references from academic instructors and hockey coaches (at least one of each) with a paragraph about why they feel you are deserving of the StevieStrong Memorial Scholarship.
